The Black Forest Butchery was established in 1984 by Winfried Lindinger. Originally from Germany he completed
his 3 year apprenticeship and 5 years later obtained his masters certificate . All together he worked 14 years in
the butcher trade in Germany before opening his own butchery in Cape Town, South Africa in 1981.
In 1996 Winfried's son Pierre joined him in the business after completing his 3 year apprenticeship in Germany to become a qualified German butcher.
All our staff are trained to their best ability and therefore share the responsibility of providing our clients with
the best quality of service.
